The East End Tour with Hida was fantastic. Hida stopped many times, from Freeport to the East End, to show/explain various sites.The terrain changes as you drive further east. You do see the effect the natural disasters have had on pockets of wooded area.The stop at the pristine beach for a swim in the Atlantic was so refreshing. 👍👍If you are looking for a coastal tour of Grand Bahama, I recommend Hida’s East Side Tour! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

SO GREAT!!!! Pick up was just a little confusing but beyond that it was an incredible experience, my favorite part of the whole trip!

Our driver to the spot was so kind and was great!! The boat captain was so kind as well. Snorkeling was beautiful, we saw so many different fish and massive starfish! We saw two nurse sharks and huge manta rays. On our way to the turtle spot, we passed a huge mango tree and he and the other locals were so kind enough to let us harvest from this mango tree! We saw a few turtles and our boat ride back was amazing too. There was just a group of 4 of us, so it was super personal and off the beaten path to truly see the wildlife we wanted to see. What a great experience!!

My family and I had an amazing experience swimming with the pigs! They had every kind imaginable — big pigs, medium pigs, little pigs, baby pigs, black pigs, brown pigs, pink pigs, and even spotted pigs. You get to feed them apples while in the water, play with them along the shore, spend time with them near their pens, and even hold the baby pigs. They give you plenty of time to take pictures and videos, so you never feel rushed. The guides were fantastic — friendly, informative, and made the entire experience fun and comfortable. Their sense of humor definitely added to the experience too! One small tip: unless you have very tough feet, I’d highly recommend wearing swim shoes. The rocks in the shallow water feel like walking on Legos. The excursion is also connected to Cleveland's Beach Club, a beachfront bar and restaurant where you can relax afterward with drinks and delicious Bahamian cuisine. Overall, it was a memorable experience for the whole family, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the Bahamas.

What a Great tour guide! The water was beautiful, and the guide was so gracious in answering all our questions. There was even stops for photos and to enjoy the water.

Brice was an amazing guide, he accommodated us when we were an hour late due to our ship a local times being different. He was kind and knowledgeable about the area. The trip was off the beaten path and away from all the people which was amazing. There was even a “private beach” which had plenty of wildlife and zero people. The locations we snorkeled at were great with tons of diversity and sights to see and write home about. I saw people complain about the longer car ride but it was maybe 45 minutes which gave plenty of time to learn the history behind the islands and ask questions which Brice could answer. Also put some space in between the busy port and everyone else to provide a quiet, peaceful, beautiful, and absolutely wonderful experience. I will recommend this to my friends and family and also go do it again given the opportunity! Way to go Brice for providing an experience that will stick with me forever!

My boyfriend and I’s tour with Brice was everything we could ask for. We started the tour with going to see turtles, in which we saw two different kinds of turtles. We went to two parts of the ocean, one of which we were able to see two sharks, multiple eagle rays, all different kinds of fish, huge starfish, etc. My boyfriend and I had trouble trying to find the original shuttle to our destination, but Brice was helpful in his communication.

My daughter and I had a great time swimming and interacting with the pigs and the handlers. The pigs were so excited for their treats and were happy and healthy. We even got to hangout with piglets!! So adorable and sweet! The handlers were knowledgeable and clearly enjoy the pigs and all of their different personalities. Know that these are animals and are excited for snacks, so if you are not an animal lover or don’t understand general animal behavior, then this is not the experience for you.

My family had a wonderful New Year's Day on the Island with Hida. We toured the East End with her. She told us a lot about the history, culture and the great places to visit. At our last stop, Gold Rock Beach (which is so stunning), we had a delightful picnic lunch that Hida brought for us. She self baked the Bahamian bread that we made sandwiches with. She also surprised my oldest son with a birthday cake so that we could sing HBD to him. Hida added these thoughtful touches which made it extra special for us. My son had a lovely birthday! Hida, thank you so much for making our day so special and memorable!

Good fun for the kids! Animals appear well cared for. Staff was friendly and helpful, bring a tip. Clean washrooms. Food, drink and souvenirs available at the beach.

Hida was very informative about the islands, took great pride in every effort to ensure her guests had a wonderful time/tour.

The experience was great, but when we showed up at 10:00am for our scheduled swim with the pigs visit, it was completely gated up and said closed. It was not until 15 minutes later any workers showed up. Once we got in, they told us that we cannot start the excursion until the group on the boat arrives, which would be a 1.5 hour wait. Luckily, some others came so we could do it early but without them we would have sat there and waited. The actual pig event was a blast, but POOR communication on everyone’s end about everything. Don’t trust anything on Cool Bahamas website. They are not affiliated with them at all besides purchasing the ticket. Also when you call the actual company, nobody is helpful. They will change their hours and cancel them all the time.

The pigs excursion was fun if you know what to expect. There are about 5 big pigs and 2 piglets. They are not roaming around freely, but when they are released from their holding area, they do swim out to your tour group in the ocean (water is less than waist high). We had a miscommunication on start time, but the tour company rectified our issue and we had a great time!

The snorkeling was great, and we saw lots of wildlife during the trip (dolphins, sea turtles, sting rays, a small shark and lots of other fish). The water colors were amazing. The only downside is that if you are coming from the East end of the island (cruise terminal), it is a very long drive to get to where the snorkeling boat leaves from (almost 90 minutes one way, including picking up one other family). On the way back, the smell of gasoline in the van was a bit strong since they were carrying fuel jugs with us.

The instructions for meeting for this excursion were not clear. There was not a specific meeting spot given and the google maps was not working. We had to call the company and it was very confusing getting things situated.The experience with the pigs was fun. It was exciting to be able to see the pigs up close and feed & pet them. The staff was friendly and informative. We had the opportunity to take pictures as well.The beach is beautiful, but there are no beach chairs, only benches and tables which aren't very comfortable. Once the pig experience is complete we had to wait another 2 hours to leave, so not having beach chairs was not fun. There was not much else to do but a volleyball net and you could purchase food and drinks.
