The best tours and activities for culture lovers in New Providence Island

Booked through Sandals; this was amazing! Not only was the water and experience beautiful, but the service was the best we had on the island! They were knowledgeable and did an amazing job! I lost my bag and they went above and beyond to tour the island and they found my bag! It had been well over an hour and they were able to find it. Even if they hadn’t found it I was so impressed with the effort that they put in to get it. TJ and Wilton were amazing!

Tori took us on the ATV ride around the island. It was an amazing and absolutely fun experience. He was great to communicate with and tailored our ride to our needs. All staff were great and attentive. EJ was also great. All had a great sense of humor and welcomed us. This was a great experience. We highly recommend C &C Scooter rental crew

Whilst visiting the Bahamas for the first time, I was desperate to experience the famous swimming with the pigs — something that had always been on my bucket list. However, I hadn’t realised quite how far away ‘Pig Island’ was! After reading through reviews, I found that Sandy Toes came highly recommended and offered a much shorter boat ride, so I decided to book.From start to finish, the day was absolutely fantastic and an experience I’ll remember forever. The team were incredibly friendly, helpful and supportive throughout. I was particularly impressed with the safety measures they had in place, both on the boat and during the snorkelling trip, which made everyone feel comfortable and well looked after.The island itself was absolutely beautiful, and having our own private area away from the crowds of some of the other tours made the experience feel really special and exclusive. The whole day was very well planned and flowed seamlessly, whilst still giving us plenty of time to relax and enjoy the island at our own pace.It was also lovely to see how well looked after the animals appeared to be. The staff were attentive to the pigs’ wellbeing, even applying suncream to them and making sure they weren’t left out in the sun for too long.Overall, I couldn’t recommend Sandy Toes enough. Swimming with the pigs was a bucket-list experience for me, and they made the entire day even better than I could have hoped for. A truly unforgettable experience!

Super fun..Definitely an experience. The pigs were hilarious and definitely loved the attention....im sure mostly because we were feeding them but still they were so curious too. Had a great time.

EJ and Tory aka Bill Gates were very kind. Explained the tour very well and were kind. They have patience of steel! My cruise didn’t debark in time and they waiting for us. They communicated immediately which was very helpful. I would do this tour again.

Captain Keith, & mates Celine & Deron were absolutely fantastic. They were fun and informative. We went to the swings on the sand bar, swam with green sea turtles, fed the swimming pigs, ate at fabulous restaurant, Valentines RoosterTail Bar and Grill and laid out on the pink sands beach with my husband/best friend! The beginning of the trip was a wee bit rough because of the chop from the winds but was clearly handled with ease by the captain. We will definitely be booking with them in the future! Such a great experience will do it again! The pigs were train very well! The dj was rocking! The fish sandwich was delicious! Must do in the Bahamas !

Experience was a 10/10! I would definitely recommend this excursion, i had an amazing time. The Rum punch, punched me but it made the experience amazing.

It was a great nighr and the food was yummy. The staff was fun and friendly. Sunnset was beautiful. ww would definetly do this again.

My instructions and ticketing were sent to a different email and did not get pulled into my regular Cool Bahamas profile/bookings, so I need to figure out getting my account cleaned up. Tis was my first visit to Nassau. So I searched for the bus and help for a half hour before giving up and thinking I just missed out:( and was absolutely heartbroken as I sat down at a pub and ordered a beer and contemplated returning to ship since I was so hot and the day seemed ruined...and then my phone rang and it was Nico, the tour guide, who had also been looking for ME for a half hour. I was SOOOOO thankful he hung in there, because it ended up being a wonderful experience! I met a wonderful couple from Corpus Christi TX, and I think it was meant to be....we had so much in common and so much fun exploring Nassau together...and we all ADORED Nico! He was funny, warm, accomodating to our slightly older selves, patient, and kept his sense of humor the whole day! I will definitely be visiting Nassau again(probably many times now!)

The meeting point “Senor Frogs” is about 15 min walk from the port if you are coming in on a cruise. So be mindful of that. The booth “Sand dollar” is located in front of Senor Frogs. Check in and get your wristband, and wait for the ferry. It is about a 45 minute ride to Rose island, beautiful scenery BUT the ride can get very rocky! (Wig girlies bring a band!!) This particular booking does not include food/beverage but there are places to purchase on the island. Free WiFi is available at the bar as well, the password is inside on the wall. The bar accepts all forms of payment, including Apple Pay. I booked the 9:30am, we left the port around 9:40, got to Rose island at about 10:30. The excursion started at about 10:50, it lasted about 10 minutes, they’ll let the pigs out, you’ll feed all different sizes of pigs, as they all enter the water. You will be waist deep. At the end you’ll line up and get a quick moment to take photos with a baby pig. They will have a tip jar available at the end as well if you’d like to give back to the piggies! We were then able to have a little time to enjoy the island and beautiful beach before heading back to port at 1:00. You’ll be back to port by 2:00, leaving you with a little time to enjoy Bahamas before boarding if you’re cruising!

We had a wonderful Jeep tour. Our guide, Captain Slim Jim was patient and knowledgeable. We would have extended the tour if we could.
