Things to do on New Year's Eve in Bahamas (Updated 2026)

Seas were a bit choppy but Caption Keith was very good navigating the waves to make a smoother ride. The entire crew was very accommodating with all the drinks and knowledge at every stop.

It rained for most of the tour but, EJ did not miss a beat. We had a blast in the rain. We were able to really ride the ATVs and speed, a little, wink wink.

Experience was a 10/10! I would definitely recommend this excursion, i had an amazing time. The Rum punch, punched me but it made the experience amazing.

Very professional and well organized.A must do activity, do the 2 hours and 30mi if you are cruise stopper.Perfect excursion.

Awesome experience from the beginning to end, we had a good time at the beach with the pigs, lunch, snorkeling, the staff very friendly.

My instructions and ticketing were sent to a different email and did not get pulled into my regular Cool Bahamas profile/bookings, so I need to figure out getting my account cleaned up. Tis was my first visit to Nassau. So I searched for the bus and help for a half hour before giving up and thinking I just missed out:( and was absolutely heartbroken as I sat down at a pub and ordered a beer and contemplated returning to ship since I was so hot and the day seemed ruined...and then my phone rang and it was Nico, the tour guide, who had also been looking for ME for a half hour. I was SOOOOO thankful he hung in there, because it ended up being a wonderful experience! I met a wonderful couple from Corpus Christi TX, and I think it was meant to be....we had so much in common and so much fun exploring Nassau together...and we all ADORED Nico! He was funny, warm, accomodating to our slightly older selves, patient, and kept his sense of humor the whole day! I will definitely be visiting Nassau again(probably many times now!)

The meeting point “Senor Frogs” is about 15 min walk from the port if you are coming in on a cruise. So be mindful of that. The booth “Sand dollar” is located in front of Senor Frogs. Check in and get your wristband, and wait for the ferry. It is about a 45 minute ride to Rose island, beautiful scenery BUT the ride can get very rocky! (Wig girlies bring a band!!) This particular booking does not include food/beverage but there are places to purchase on the island. Free WiFi is available at the bar as well, the password is inside on the wall. The bar accepts all forms of payment, including Apple Pay. I booked the 9:30am, we left the port around 9:40, got to Rose island at about 10:30. The excursion started at about 10:50, it lasted about 10 minutes, they’ll let the pigs out, you’ll feed all different sizes of pigs, as they all enter the water. You will be waist deep. At the end you’ll line up and get a quick moment to take photos with a baby pig. They will have a tip jar available at the end as well if you’d like to give back to the piggies! We were then able to have a little time to enjoy the island and beautiful beach before heading back to port at 1:00. You’ll be back to port by 2:00, leaving you with a little time to enjoy Bahamas before boarding if you’re cruising!

We had a wonderful Jeep tour. Our guide, Captain Slim Jim was patient and knowledgeable. We would have extended the tour if we could.

The tour was absolutely amazing! We couldn’t have had a better time with Captain Dion and his crew members, they made the experience fun with music and jokes and were also attentive and helpful when snorkeling. Would definitely recommend this tour!

It was a phenomenal time! Dion and his crew were a marvelous time, very friendly and welcoming! The expefience itself was also amazing, where we snorkled and saw turtles, followed by an awesome beach day!

Price was better than the comparable cruise ship excursion. Fun being toured around by Capt. Soul - was a knowledgeable guide who made for a wonderful experience. Definitely better than trying to do the tour on foot - not a lot of sidewalks/walkable streets farther in to Nassau from the cruise port.

We had a wonderful tour guide ,named Niko , very informative! He took us to Fort Monique , Queens Staircase , and rum cake factory . Very nice day !!

I enjoyed this excursion so much. I thought I'd be scared but they were so cute. I would of liked for them to have more pigs available.
