Overview

Kids will explore a fort, kids museum and go on a scavenger hunt, search for buried treasure and build a huge sand castle with specialty tools. There will be an opportunity for parents to swim at the beach or lounge in a shaded chair will the kids get to work or the parents may opt to participate in the fun.

The tour is conducted in an air-conditioned, comfortable small 8-seater vans for comfort. Wi-Fi and cartoons (built in DVD player) available for kids.

You will be met at the exit gates of Nassau Cruise Port Terminal into Nassau City. Just before the exit there are little security/toll booths in front of the ISOLA Gelato (green building), Your guide will be wearing yellow polo shirt with a Nassau Escapades logo and tan pants. What To Expect

The Pirates Museum is the 1st tour stop to explore a replica pirate ship, see fascinating wax figures, pirate scenes, statues, real pirate weapons and of course pirate treasure! At the end of the museum tour, kids are given a scavenger hunt map that leads to buried treasure.. The search begins at the second tour stop, Fort Charlotte. Kids engage in the tour by reading the signage to find the clues on scavenger map. If correctly identified, the tools needed are given by the tour guide. Next we drive down the scenic coastline to the beach on the treasure map. Children use the map to pinpoint exactly where to build the castle and ultimately dig for the buried treasure! In the end the fun was in hunting for clues, building a huge sandcastle built with our specialty made sandcastle building tools and exploring the pirate museum. Your guide will help the kids to craft a rather large sandcastle while parents can opt in or out of sandcastle building. Children may also opt out of the scavenger hunt and still build the sand castle. The tour is a great way to occupy the kids for a day without electronic devices and allows parents a little chill time at the beach.
