This is an amazing experience. The Exhibits will take you into what happened with very detail accounts. I strongly recommend it.
WWII Museum was the highlight of our New Orleans trip!

Came down to NOLA last weekend with my 17 year old done to visit Tulane and we both thought this museum was the most interesting thing we saw during our visit. There was so much to see regarding every aspect of WWII, all of the branches of the military were highlighted through all of the different battles. Highly recommend the Tom Hanks 4d movie, and making sure that you see all of the different sections of the museum. There is a lot to take in, and it is a very humbling experience.
Very good

Regardless of your tolerance for learning history (and I am less than renowned for my love of history), don’t miss this museum. Rainy day or not. The personal stories are compelling. Very well done. The level of detail about events, people, and historical figures is truly unsurpassed. Think you’re an expert? Ha!Although the rooms can be confusing, it you do them in a certain order it makes more sense…(ask for guidance).Note: 1. Bring a sweater - just in case. 2. Plan on spending at LEAST 2-3 hours at the museum. Even then, you can’t get to everything. 3. Restaurants at the museum close at 2pm. 4. Think twice about bringing anyone under 18…and even then, everyone going needs to be prepared to consume a silly amount of information.

We enjoyed the following parts of the museum: 1) The movie 2) The Pacific battle 3) The Atlanta battle We were not able to visit the other parts of the museum.

This is a must do when visiting New Orleans. Be sure to allow enough time to absorb all of the displays. We had a great lunch at the on site restaurant as a break. The film narrated by Tom Hanks was top notch.

Really good experience. A lot to see and very interactive. I wish we had more time but I will definitely go back. The cards you get are really nice.

Staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The multi-media presentations were helpful to understand the history of WW II. This was my third trip and I can’t wait to go back again. What I wish for: larger exhibit on life at home (America) during the war. Expanded exhibit on Japanese internment camp. More interactive exhibits especially from concentration camp survivors.

Very interesting museum. This is a must see if you are visiting New Orleans!! The museum is very clean with a great layout . You are issued a ticket for a “ train ride” to follow a person that was in the War .. I got to follow Jimmy Stewart !! This adds to the experience !! Along the way you can tap the desígnated screen to get more information about the person you are following . The different areas of time are perfectly decorated to make you feel like you are there . I would definitely recommend this museum !!
