Your host's sister will pick you up from the Nassau location you include when making your booking.
What To Expect
Get picked up from your hotel (or the cruise port) and begin your private Bahamian cooking class in Nassau with a warm welcome at your host Seanette’s home, where you’ll be greeted with a refreshing cocktail and a delicious bite. Seanette will introduce you to Bahamian cuisine, the menu of the day, and the rich history behind the dishes you’ll be preparing. Then, roll up your sleeves for a hands-on cooking class in her kitchen where you’ll learn to craft three authentic Bahamian dishes. You'll learn how Seanette seasons and spices each dish using local ingredients, bringing out the utmost flavor every step of the way.
The cooking portion lasts about 1.5 hours before you gather around the table to enjoy the delicious meal you helped create, sharing laughter and conversation with your host. Enjoy your meal with local beer or wine. To finish on a sweet note, enjoy a traditional Bahamian dessert prepared in advance due to its longer cooking time. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Bahamian food, culture, and culinary traditions in a warm and welcoming setting.
Seanette's home is a 15 min drive from the Atlantis resort and a 25 min drive from Baha Mar.

- Prices include round-trip transfers from the cruise port, downtown Nassau, and Paradise Island only. Guests staying on the western side of the island (including Baha Mar and Cable Beach) will need to arrange and pay the host directly an additional transport fee.
